This form should be completed by Elementary and Middle School Counselors/Administrators ONLY! General Campus tours and Large Group Tours are designed for high school students only.
Thank you for choosing Clayton State University! We are excited to have you visit our beautiful campus in Morrow, Georgia. We have a CSU Self-Guided Group Tour designed specifically for elementary and middle school students. The self-guided tour allows your young scholars to experience a university campus, without the overwhelming information intended for high school students.
Our Self-Guided tour is formatted as a scavenger hunt designed to acquaint your students with Clayton State and promote both individual and group problem solving skills. Upon arrival to campus you will be met by our student tour coordinator. Scavenger hunt flyers will be distributed to your students and chaperones/group leaders. The tour coordinator will answer questions you may have before your groups embark on the scavenger hunt. During your self-guided tour, our tour coordinator will check in on your groups to see if a group needs a hint to solve a part of the scavenger hunt, or if there are other questions. When your groups are finished, a photo opportunity will be provided so you can take a commemorative picture of your visit to our beautiful campus. The Self-Guided tour is supported by our campus map to inspire a timely tour and to enhance your experience. The tour is approximately sixty (60) minutes, however, it may take longer based on the size of the groups and the level of activity. The tour is a walking tour, so encourage your young scholars to dress for the weather!
Self Guided tours for Spring 2018 are available on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:00, 9:30, or 10:00.
You are welcomed to bring a sack lunch from your school and enjoy it on our beautiful campus or you may purchase lunch for your group at our dining hall! Due to space limitations groups of 80 or more can only be accommodated on Fridays. Please note that outside food other than school sack lunches is prohibited.
